Hmm, nerf the G36E? No!

I do think its a little powerful but its a nice upgrade from the L85A1 and its shortcomings. It does come in handy in some situations, but I have noticed the tendancy that it sometimes lacks its illustrious punch at longer ranges.

I just don't think a medic should win consistently in a head to head fight with an assault player....thats just the fight an assault player is supposed to win (with the rifle not the noob tube).

Maybe i'm just good, or lucky....or every assault player on the map is a noob-tuber that doesn't know he can switch to an awesomely powerful machinegun after he runs out of grenades.

What ever you do fon't let EA screw with the G36E, otherwise I would seriously burn the EA headquarters down and serverely torture the user that spread it.

Anyway, using the DAO is good in maps like Wake of Dalian??? (Not really Karkand or Mushtuur)

Spectacular info - I'm really stoked about trying out the G-36-E for the first time in a few weeks. The few people I know that play this game make fun of me for playing medic. I really enjoy it. Glad to hear it is a nice wep......

Guess I'll have to decide on my other unlock as I get two.....I'll search around and try to find info on the upcoming pay for patch and see what weps are available.....maybe I should save my pick.

GV- Here also take this advice for the G36E

Just unlocked it and damn, I wiped out three guys while standing!!! That is really the first time I accurately kill someone with a gun without going to prone (not, I DON'T dolphin dive, just a natural prone) that gun is like heaven on earth. Seeing my vet. very soon with this baby.

Still haven't unlocked any others, still deciding.

So did he post yet and tell us wich one he unlocked? im to lazy to read the posts.

But its like this:

If you play sniper alot then unlock the m95 i guess.

If you play as Anti tank alot then unlocking the DOA12 is a must its so much better then the crappy weak mp5.

I wouldnt bother with the G3 sure its powerful but its not really worth it when all other guns just take a few more shots to kill some one and they hold 10 more bullets (only has 20 round clips)

If they did make this gun with a 30 round clip (I mean in real life too) then i might use it.

I guess i'm kinda famous now thanks to BlackLegion. My personal suggestion would be to get the DAO-12 - its bloody awesome in CQB and the SRAW is good against anything (2 hit kills for helicopters - lost count of how many helo-whores i have made cry) Also if you get the DAO i'll teach you how to use the SRAW like a pro :p The G3A3 is a good choice for CQB also but it falls down at range (plus you only get 20 rounds a mag and have no anti-vehicle capability) Glad you are enjoying your new G36E BlackLegion, you should get veteran medic first try on Sharqui - i usually get 30-50 kills there. The M95 is awesome if you know how to use it (just takes practice) and anyone who says helicopter kills are blind luck has a crap aim.

Dao is a piece of ass. Its good if your like up in someones grill but personally I'd go with the F2000 with flash bangs or g3, because f2000 is the win and g3 OK. F2000 gives you the awesomness of the m203 + a scope for picking off people, especiall in SF. G3 is jsut good for rincing ppl in the face from close up with spray or taking your time from far away. DAO is more limited.

I picked the DAO and damn, that gun is so sweet, I kicked alot of ass with it on Wake!!! I made a good choice and thanks to all of you who helped. I think the gun was a great choice. Only drawback was the reloading time, as I got killed twice by reload, so I got to check my ammo count as I play. Otherwise sweet gun! Makes me want to AT more with it.

I have all the unlocks except the Jackhammer, M95, L8, G36E. I am about to rank up and i am oping i will get two choices, will i be able to get the DAO second version because the new patch will add a second sniper unlock and a second AT unlock. Should i use both of my unlocks and get the L8 and the G36e or wait for Bf2S to update Wiki and see if the Second AT weapon is worth unlocking.

Were these DAO killings from afar? I don't think so; and if you do kill someone, the person wasn't paying attention to you anyway. I admit from afar I've been slaughtered by the SRAW/ERYX when I was trying to kill someone else, never by the shotty itself, pistol just recently, but when I see a cylinder packin fool from afar it's funny for me, if you didn't waste your run ability, you try to see him reload and you're pickin' him off with dog poo from the street. But in CQC, it's devastating, I see alot of people going back to the PP19 in big maps (longer between flags; basically need a car to get to).
