I Need help!! My router/cable modem keeps reseting

I have the Linksys WCG200 wireless gateway. I have my desktop PC hardwired in and 2 laptops running wireless.
For the last week or so it has just been resetting on its own. I will be surfing the Net or playing BF2 and it will just lose connection, then 2min later it will be fine. I have called my ISP and Linksys for help but they have no answer.

The firmware on the modem is up to date and have swept my computer for viruses and spy ware.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

wow man, that is really weird....i have been having that same issue with my WRT300N. its driving me insane, so if you find a solution, post it.
i have tried everything i can think of.

What Linksys offered was to send my a new router!! I paid $300 fo this thing, I want it to work lol

im not going to go an a rant, but i about lost my mind earlier today....six fucking hours on the phone with some asshole that talks in some variation of english....i call it "englishanese".....anyway, im pretty sure i tried to strangle someone through the phone today.

Power supply.

Replace that and see how it goes.

Also, is the router in a place with lots of air? Eliminate heat as a problem.

pulled my computer apart yesterday when my apartment complex was working on the power and cleaned it, power supply is less then 4 months old, my router is well vented( it was under computer table now its unblocked)

Edit: The support people said it sounded like a hardware problem

i had an issue with my router resetting too. the fix: duct-tape the power adapter to your surge protector...mine was loosing the power connection somehow or something...worked for me...

No, wait - I meant the power supply for the router, not your PC.

*Update* Well, my problem has gotten worse. My router will reset every 2-3 min now. I tried to play a round of BF2 and I kept getting this:

It always seems to happen when I'm about to light someone up. I was only able to make it through one short round with out getting a connection lost message.

It has reset 2 times while teying to post this, I have called Linksys and all they can do is have me pay to send it to them and they will send me a replacement in 3-4 days, I work on the internet that is not a option.

I had a similar problem once and I did the "revert to factory settings" thingy and than installed newest firmware (believe it or not I could use firefox to do it). I know you said its the latest but double check it. And of course there is always the possibility that its defected. If its less than 30 days old they have to replace it for free (the shop that sold it). At least in EU
