i ask this because, the stats are the BIGGER reason that will make us buy the booster packs and stuff, when we could play mods and new maps in unranked servers for free, but since those don't give us more points we don't play them

I want awards because they just feel nice when you get them. Those 18 knife kills....priceless. Gotta catch 'em all!
I'm an award junkie and working on the one i feel is the hardest to get.....expert explosives. The others are pretty easy just takes alot of time to get the reqs. But 40 kills is easy to get for your kit classes.

I got all my awards just by playing the game, i like playing the game on my headphones on a loud volume so explosings, gunfire and low flying jets on afterburner scare the hell out of me. I got a Yamaha ax-492 natural sound amplifier hooked up to my pc and sony mdv-v500 headphones. Thats what really gets me going.
Having fun is my main motivation to play this game, i dont play it every day and i like most kits/vehicles. I have 1 favorite server so i know alot of the regular players on it, that improves teamplay and i m invited into squads alot. I love being a medic and making meself usefull for the team, i m not whoring the kit tho, i ll revive you 3 times and if you dont manage to get out of that situation, you're on your own.

getting awards just adds something new to a video game. this way you try out different kits, and try all different kind of tactics. it can make the game a bit more fun and interesting.
wouldn't it be funny if your badges, medals, and ribbons appeared on your player, then everyone would jingle and shine. And some of those top rankers would get smothered in their awards lol, they'd be like walking trophy cases.
