M24 for me. best bolt action IMO. Like the SVD more though

Technically it'd be the L96A1 as it has smaller crosshairs - then again, the M24 feels awesome and I haven't played the L96 for ages...
Neither is better. It's the person using it. (I tend to shoot better with the M-24, but if I decide to snipe, I'll go a full rotation of all my rifles.)

But realistically, the M24 is "better" in the game, as you can just use that and leave the L96A1 and go and unlock some other gun instead.

Anyho the M24 is just plain more seXeh so ... and its center of reticle is the actual center of the screen. The L96 is off center and slightly to the side of the reticle.
M24 has a better feel to it. And all the pre-l96 snipers know what I mean. If you were a sniper, you were on USMC. No questions.

L96A1, duh....
I *would* say L96 but the scope lag is far worse with it (when you zoom in, lags and moves about, then unzooms) the m24 is more stable for me and has almost as good accuracy.
M24 FTW. L96 is decent but the M24 seems much more powerful and accurate. SVD still pwns all other rifles though.
I only started to go sniper after special forces was released so I havent used the M24 much. I found the L96 better for long range head shots due the the smaller crosshair.

Ive always thought they were about the same to use....
only the L96 crosshair is slightly finer, and it does more damage to people without body armor...

L96A1 no doubt about it, i remember using the M24 and carefully aiming at a paersons head clearly, and it wouldnt even kill him but the L96A1 is so accurate even on the move.
