Gee today was playin on Wake and was doin good with the jet till TK time came, im like only several meters from this jet and and fire missles and he drops his flares and these missles go hawwire, 1 hit the BH taking off from the carrier, 5 tks, 1 hit a nearby damage jet on my team, 1 tk, another hit a stolen jet, 1 TD, and 1 hit a attack chopper, 2 tks, wow, i hate missles lol. Has this happen to you guys before?
yes at the wet lands i was in the lb had a mec jet comming stairght at me to i let loose all 4 missles killed the jet and a full bh( That I never saw) something like 6tks at once with the punish i lost over 30 points and them some. But I did kil the jet....then died in the arty attack from the commander...
where are they going? BEATS ME! To missle heaven I suppose...
but seriously it's because heat seaking missiles can get confused with heat signatures and go flying off to a different heat source. Good pilots use this to their advantage, tricking a air defense into killing a persueing jet

mine is really lame, i was in the chinese AA vehicule and i have locked on a hovering attack chopper just 30 mts away from me, i shooted 1 missile , and he used the flares, but he didn't move at all, then i lounched, the other 3 and i got team vehicula dammage x3 the 3 tk -18 after that and 3 punish and i got kicked
All the time. You'd be surprised to what lengths missiles will go to miss their real targets and bullseye obscure and/or unseen friendly targets.
I've had worse. Was in the tunstania in SF on ghost town The BH had dropped it's flared before i launched a missle so i let loose all my missles. 4 of them do a full 90 degree turn away from the blackhawk to go towards the friendly attack chopper that never even came into my screeen and was over 250 meters above the hieght of the BK. so i got 4 kill and two tks which were punished. I will never forget watching those missles which can barely turn against an enemy target but can do a ninety degree turn to take down a friendly.

I"m begining to hate AA
they always miss enemies by going completely out of their way, and somehow they will never miss a friendly vehicle. you know how the missiles just randomly turn at the last second to pass the enemy. why cant it do that for teammates??
i have killed almost every one on the carrier deck i was shooting at a enemy chopper i shot all 6 missles and thay all missed and blew a full black hawk a full attack chopper and a jet and when they blew up they killed evey one around them and i had -46 and got kicked and banned

Lol, best screw up I've seen is when we were taking an enemy outpost, the commander launcher arty on the enemy position as we finally started to turn the flag to ours. Then the arty hit and killed all of our guys, and the enemy got the position back =/
Ive seen that arty strike happen time and time again. My worst was when i went in for a bombing run on an enemy position.....got 6 enemy kills, but then the almost dead tanks had c4 on em when my guys rolled in.....blew up and took them all out giving me the tks.....i was like how the fuck did that happen. Only 1 guy punished though.
