Zimmer's pro.
Another pointless Mac vs PC thread... NEXT
Go Zimmer, Go Zimmer,
I think I remember reading this somewhere.
O noes!!
Oh, yeah lol. Probably in that magazine you just mentioned.
How true. I would never buy a Mac if I need it to do anything, such as playing games and whatnot. The only reason I would consider buying a Mac is if I needed word processing capabilities, but I already have that on my pc that I built myself...
Remember Me As A Time Of Day
there are so many things wrong with this i don't know where to begin, sigh...

Part 1:
It's called demand and research. People want more, so Apple make more.
Part 2:
I'd like to see Microsoft attempt to make a Mac Mini. They are so easy to use and upgrade physically, are so small they can fit snug on a desk - better than a tower! They aren't built for games.
Part 3:
Some people love those games, others don't. Apples are not built for games.
Part 4:
Big deal! Mighty Mouse > Your mouse.
Part 5:
Plenty fail on PCs too.
Part 6:
And it's all true! You can customize each and every specification detail to what you need, and you can upgrade them too. PC Hardware comes out all the damn time! They don't do it for the consumer, they do it for profits. Bigger = Better, in this world. You don't need to upgrade an iMac every 10 minutes.
Part 7:
They work just as fast as every mac user needs. 6GHz? Who needs it! Not you, that's for sure. Their hardware is fine, and held some of the new C2D as soon as they were out.
Part 8:
Made on a PC I guess, there is no part 8. That's smart.
Part 9:
Maximizing windows? who does that now with 21" monitors, eh? OSX > Windows Explorer. So much easier to use, so little fuss, so easy.
Part 10:
Oh no! Something didn't work! Have you ANY idea how many components haven't taken of? TYPICAL! You find one fault and you pick on and pick on until it bursts, because the company isn't as rich as XX.

Tell that to the Computer experts writing it. Or, you could actually try and point out the "wrong" parts, after around 2 onths resaearch by the pc experts. Who are we going to believe? You or PC experts that get paid for doing this. Oh and BTW it isn't biased, they have a section for the MAC wins as well.Marlboroman82 wrote:

Hello, I'm windows and I don't work for shit, and if you demand me I get blue.
Hello, I'm OSX and I'm a hippie that is so groovy that scares people out.
Hello, I'm Linux and I PWN.

I used to run the the IT department for a major American University. I believe I am just as much of an "expert" as the people in those magazines.Zimmer wrote:

Whats the point of argue back and forth we have been through this a million times. Your a mod you should know better than most that all this is going to do is lead to flaming back in forth on each side. Especially since a majority of the people who criticize macs have never actually used one.

Who is making such a big deal about everything to do with MACS? Apple.
Who thinks they are the best of the best and want to keep on arguing their point? Apple.
Not the PCs. That is why I was giving a perfectly reasonable counter argument.
Anyway, I have used a MAC, I have used one a lot. I don't like it. But I am not getting into what I don't or do like, I am just stating what they said and what they believe.
This is mainly being directed at home users and advanced techies, not businesses of the like.
@ orangehound : Because It was a huge fuss writing it all out with BBcode etc etc.
Well, they both have their problems, but I gotta go with PC, just because I can.
I am going to post up the COUNTER ARGUMENT to it later on or tommorrow, I take no side in this, I just thought maybe some MATURE users would be interested in this. Maybe I was wrong...

It's that good that the majority of the world's population haven't heard of it.
Actually, the majority of the population probably have. You are just deprived.jord wrote:

Get what you like, nobody forces anyone to buy anything they don't want, os's have similar shit, same old argument over and over and over. If noone agrees upon this, the middle east does not stand a chance.

i just hate when some mac users go give me their "elitist" attitude towards me; that i am loser for using a pc ie them apple ads. i know that macs are quite powerful, usefull in some ways and i respect them but i hate when there is ignorance. here are some of great qoutes from my own friends who use macs and try to "convert" me and some of you probably have heard it too.
-"macs can not be affected by pc virus"
my answer: no shit its a mac but it certainly not immune to macro virsus, its not "invicible". plus the only time when i do get a virus on my pc was when i willingfully download shady porn/game cracks/codecs from a shady site. ya i know its stupid but i was not really thinking with my head but rather my ...
-"macs have better graphics"
my answer: then why the hell did this place, http://www.tttc.ca/ , uses pc to play bf2 and make graphic movies? (the think tank graphic center in vancouver hosted a bf2 match and my and my Pc buddies went to their center and made it to quater finals until we played against the chinese in which their ju-10 kick our asses...plus all of us were infantry men not "flyboys")
-"I can say 'internet' and my mac turns on the internet"
my answer: ya my brother-in-law's config his pc to do that too.
but hey macs are good but i say its price tag is not for me especially when i can get a lower price and still pwn in bf2.... and watch porn.

You're point can mean less than rock's pov because you like ATI and are from Northern Ireland. Enough said, I win.leetkyle wrote:
