Hey guys.

Today I took my laptop into work because I knew it would be a slow day. I loaded BF2 on it and figured I could burn the day by playing a little single player action...polish my L33T SKILLZ ...(or total lack there of).

Oh my god.....I have to have my scrotum mailed back to me from China.....

I forgot how well programmed the bots were.

You tend to overlook human mistakes when playing online, so you're able to hide, and out maneuver and benefit from the lack of sight from our fellow man. Even run way away from the heat of battle to continue to fight.

Not in these little 16 player death matches. It was painful. No lube.

At first I was happy to see no bunny hopping, noob tubing, and dolphin diving. They were playing as the game should be played...that is....until they started ass raping me horribly.

Talk about L33t lol...as bots, they pulled out knives and paddles while close and was just pounding me into the ground, pwnd me with every single kit, and even pushed me off buildings. OVER AND OVER . MAP AFTER MAP.

I decided to try my hand at sniping just to sit back and watch the massacre....nope.

Commander was all in my rectum....each reload of the arty.....directly over me...never a safe spot.

WOW....

If you really want to tighten up your skills.....play a few rounds of single player.....mine was on the easy setting.

Some might flame and say I'm a big puss for getting owned like that....you'll be surprised at how much we start to suck after human error sets in.

Really? I played SP to familiarize myself with flying and commanding. When I ran around as infantry the bots seemed pretty dumb on easy. Are you sure you were playing on easy?

I also played the single player at easy when I first started and got 60+point rounds without much effort, Eventually I might try it at hard, but what's the point when I can't get any points or awards?

When I mess around on sp I usually run around with shock paddles out seeing how many bots I can zap :-)

Yes i played singal player for 3 month befor i played an actual human. And now i kick Ass very good way to learn if you want to kick ass with other humans master singal player on expert setting first it teaches you valubal lessons.

SF is harder on SP. I can't ever get anyone to commander on my team in SP, is this normal? The other team always has a commander

I've been playing expert mode for way too long now and have not beat them all. Bpinbf2, yes, I agree. That's why I've been playing single player for so long. After playing easy for about a week I did alright online. Now, after playing expert single player... I can't wait to hop online again. It's gonna be sweet. Like I said in my other post, why can't we have a server from EA that's just against bots? Could you imagine? All that hopping-diving-whatever-bullshit has no effect on the computer... it's simply beautiful. We might actually have to work together, heaven forbid. And CheckSando, you don't suck... you are just playing against God.

I don't know i never had any trouble defeating the bots in this game, maybe i played to many CS bots on expert (that's like playing a team of hackers). I must say that the expert bots are very difficult to take down once they get in the air, but infantry is not a problem at all.

in SP you have a non-existant commander if you aren't it. there won't be any actual guy on your team taking the role, but you will have the UAV's and Arty placed as though he was.

if my internet is down i'll play single player. i usually play sniper against them to get my aim better at hitting moving targets. its so hard because they sneak up on you. just gotta pay attention to your surroundings. its too easy if you have any other guns. and i play it on hard.

Also, if you notice, when you get killed by arty in SP, it says you're "no more" they don't have a commander either.

you must be kidding? the bots on easy setting in single player can't hit the broad side of a barn and the other settings aren't much more difficult. i have stood at about 20 yards from 2 bots (easy setting) and watched as they fired about 10 rounds before my health was low enough to be concerned. two quick head shots to each and i was off.

Hehehe lol the gameplay is totally different compared to online. U can't jsut hide and wait for people and stuff and even if your a sniper they always see you. With regards to their difficulty though, on easy they are pretty crap tbh, but on hard its generally quite a good game and on expert its like playing against NEO!!!!!!! they dodge bullets, never miss and I swear I saw one of them flying around the server in a black trench coat!
