I'm wanting to make a video with various RTS video clips such as the intro, CG short, things of that nature.  Most games have the video encoded and I don't know how to get to it.
Is there any way to get to this data or is there some kind of recording software I can use?

Tried Fraps?
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it

I don't feel like paying $40 to have the watermark removed unless there is a free way to do it.

Well my friend and I have used a bink movie program to run and resave the bf1942 intro video in the past, look for something that's designed for a certain format.

Other than Fraps is there any good in-game recording software?

well it certainly isn't hard to obtain a full version of fraps.

it took me all of 5 minutes (including search and download time) lol.

but if you are one of those 'moral' types, then rad video tools might help
