So there I am minding my own business trying to cap a flag in Dragon Valley. All of a sudden my whole screen goes white. I'm freaked out by this strange turn of events but I try to keep my cool. I say to myself, "Lemur, it's your POS rig crapping out on you again" and hold steady. But after about 20 secs my game comes back. I finish capping the flag and wander upstream on my merry way. Hmm...
I don't give another passing thought until a few days later it happens again in game. This time in Karkand. Damn, not again! OK, I keep on my heading, do a little dancing (at least that's what it would have looked like had I not been subjected to an early season blizzard), and I end up just about where I would have expected.
Never a scratch, not a mark. And no indication there was anyone nearby.
This happened a third time about a week after that. My question is:
WTF is going on?! Is it a flash pack from BF2:SF? I don't have the expansion but I'm guessing the patch enabled the stuff in vanilla. Are the damn things portable across versions? Is my vid card messing with me? Am I seriously frigged up in my cacabesa? (well, yes. but what about my screen with the polar bear in a snowstorm?)
