Sharpton is more racist than Imus, Sharpton hates all white people while Imus only hates black female basketball players.
I'm gonna take a stab at this and say the difference is, Imus worked for a media outlet that was afraid of losing revenue. The market hath spoken.
FWIW, I think Sharpton's a fucking idiot. It's a damn tragedy that after Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcom X, this is what passes for a leader in the black community nowadays. But I have no sympathy for Imus. He gambled his salary and lost, trying to play a game he doesn't have the skills for. Too bad, so sad.

One's black and can say whatever the hell he wants. The other is white, tries to say whatever the hell he wants, but gets busted by civil rights groups, the media, etc. and gets fired because of it.

He was a radio talkshow host/TV talkshow host, who got fired for calling the Rutgers womens basket ball team a bunch of "nappy headed hoes" a short while back. There was a big out cry from civil rights groups, affirmative action, etc. and he lost his job as a result.Commie Killer wrote:
