So yeah.

My modem is going all funny, it has been since last week. My internet wouldn't work for 2 days straight, and then when it does come back on, it is very slow, and sometimes it just won't work at all.

Jackasses at Telus say "2 to 4 days for your new modem to arrive in the mail."
It has been 9 days, without a word from Telus.

So yeah, my pages take 30sec-1min to load, and it is very frustrating, seeing as how I can't play BF2 either.
Just thought I'd let you all know. This thread is an act of bordem, depression, and overall hatred.

try pinging out of it, are you sure it's the modem?

In a CMD prompt, type:
ping www.usatoday.com -t

(press cntrl / break to stop it)

It's definitely the modem.
The ADSL light turns off, and when it's off, I have no internet.

When it's on, it works, but quite slowly.

I tried the prompt, and this is the result:

Damn, that sucks. When I got ADSL2+, my first modem was broken. Well, it worked for about an hour then BAM!... it stopped working. iiNet took about 3-4 days to get the new modem out to me.

maybe someone peed on it... at my old place when I had roommates this dude got super wasted and peed in the corner of the house containing all the electronics... plugs and all... He was able to destroy a cable modem and a router with his stream.
