Need more ranks between 50 and 200K... it will bring more people to buy the game
you get all your unlocks at 50k, officer ranks are just for show and something to work for
I have played "most" rts and fps over the last 10 years and i can assure you that EA will put most of the new ranks just out of the reach of the "majority" of the players. They are trying to keep intrest in the game and from experience they know that the best way to keep people playing is to dangle a carrot in front of the bulk of the players not the 20 that are at the top.........roger ?

um you can get more than one of these?
1st LT is too tough... unless they reduce the combat infantry time down, i cant get it coz i dont have the 500 hours. but there should be tiers of rank like 1st LT and 2nd Lt, captain and major etc etc
I dont think so, cuz i dont play the game forever like most people, i think i just reached 90 hours. but by the time id get to an officer rank, id either given up playing the game....or id easily have the right time criteria.
You know, if things relied heavily upon rank playing influence in the game, I wouldn't want to go much further than Sergeant or Lieutenant..... Otherwise it would be too much demand on my time maintaining other things when I could be busy actually fighting =P
I meant to add that I guess, in an instance like that, I would want an option to choose not to rank up, but remain at that level (even if some people think it's obscure to do thusly)

enlisted ranks are better coz they do more fighting
its a good idea the ranking system but lets face it, it will lose its appeal after awhile...it needs to go somewhere else....so what if people tank, jet or heli whore how about ranks for them or special awards/unlocks...special equipment upgrades ? as for not having a life well that may be a fair comment but some peeps may not be able to go out due to disability....hell playing this is better than hanging around streets doing nothing or watching boring repeats on the telly...would be cool to be able to select your own special kit, choice of pistol, mg, rifle whatever...probably a pain to programme it into the game though!!! lol...YOU HAVE REACHED ...........RANK AND CAN NOW CHOOSE A SPECIALIST WEAPON OR PIECE OF KIT!...hmmm kevlar vests anyone? trip mines?...pointed stick!
my new personal weapon: the stick, why? 5% camo, best for close range, poke ppls eye balls out so their screen goes black
my personal unlock: the pogo stick, why? +10 speed, plus it would look cool
