Are there any methods out there for autokicking squadless players on a ranked server? From what I can tell, the only methods of doing this are with a python script and with something other than BF2CC. From my understanding, the python script cannot be ran on a ranked server. Am I mistaken? And regarding an rcon interface software (like BF2CC), that would require somebody to be running that at all times. I would like to set something up that runs automatically and concurrently with the server. Is this possible? I cannot seem to find anything.

Then at the risk of this being an advertisement, I suggest playing on the Texas ...Teamplayers... servers. Squad leader doesnt have a mic? Forfeit squad lead or get kicked. Commander doesnt have a mic? Step down or get kicked. Squad leader doesnt follow commanders orders? Get kicked. Commander not giving orders? Get kicked. The server is about teamplay, and if you dont follow orders or give orders, you arent welcome there. That is the way Battlefield 2 is supposed to be.

Good point, I see what your saying, but you will end up having squads locked with just one person in it, then one team full and then if you reach maximum number of squads, your well.....fucked!!!!3lmo wrote:

This would kind of defeat the idea of a teamwork server, so i guess you would not be allowed to lock squads.
What if the team has the ''cant create squad bug'' as my team just had on Max Carnage, would have meant that 30 people would have kicked for something that they couldn't prevent.

there are a few PR servers which run it. but i dunno if it can be done on a vanilla, et al, ranked server soz.
I play on the Texas...TeamPlayers..Server and you don't have to have a mic for squad leader or commander but it is highly recommended. I don't use a mic and have been both but I do give commands in game all the time.
If you switch squads more than once you are kicked off for 10 minutes or so....I believe it is automatically done since sometimes it happens when no admins are around but you can always e-mail them and ask.

You dont HAVE to have a mic as a squad leader, sorry. But if you aren't properly issuing orders and relaying information from your commander, youre up for a boot.
If you have that 'unable to join a squad' bug, then rejoin. it only takes a minute.
Also, you arent booted for switching squads on TTP. Never have, never will.
At TTP, we ask that you work with the team, or dont play. We dont like lone wolfs, UNLESS they are following the commanders orders, IE spotting, taking out assets, etc.

It might of been a glitch but I did get kicked with a server msg from TTP for switching squads twice in one night. But only that one night....and it was for 5-10 minutes according to the Admin Kick Msg. Weird thing though is that it didn't register as a kick on my stats.Lemures wrote:

Anyways I love that server since it does encourage team play and the server is local to me.
