Xfire+Vista=Fail. (Help with xfire/IE needed)

I've got a problem. I've installed vista a few weeks ago, I'm running XP atm (I can switch between vista and XP)

My internet explorer works awesome, It's fast and shit.

...but if I open Xfire and if I want to connect, my IE is goin' down. I can't even read something on my forums. It's fucking slow, only if I open xfire. If I close it again it works.

That's a huge problem for a xfire/IE whore like me. What can I do?

Windows security centre blocks xfire I think, it's an autostart programme.

I can't stop the windows security centre.

What can I do?

CPanel > Windows Defender > Unblock xfire

you can turn off all that security bolocks that stops programs from running and always ask you if you want to run it.
Follow these steps:
1. Go to control panel
2. Switch to classic View
3. Open up User Accounts
4. Turn off User Account Control

I done this and now, I can open up any program at start up also I can open a program without that stupid msg comeing up that always asks you to click ok to run a program.

This turns of a part of the Vista security but I found it just caused more problems than it was worth. I hope this works.

Firefox But Xfire is working on their Vista compatability. The last update fixed some Vista ingame issues. I bet thet they are aware of your problem too.

I dont have any problems with vista and xfire and using the internet..... Strange
