its a server where evertime you go on you have a different rank. pretty simple

If the server has ABR (Alternative Battle Ranking?) than I would assume it has something to do the way the keep track of stuff.
Theres a dude in BF2 that has Sergeant Major of the Corps, weird though because he still keeps the rank :s, I'll try to remember his name.
