Its forgivable i did the same shit too.(Now i got a new account thats clean!) Btw when you were commanding was it all from just command points?mtb0minime wrote:
Sorry for the revival of this very old post, but I search my username and look what comes up!
I'm flattered that some people actually defended me in this topic. But a year ago, I was a complete noob and joined up in the P/K server craze. Unlike other padders out there, I only did this for a few days, and only to get my knife badges (it was before they changed the badge requirements). Once I got the expert knife badge, I was out of there immediately. Looking back, I really hate myself for doing that. I sucked real bad at the game at the time and thought that was the only way. But I think it's ok to forgive people right? Giving in to temptation and going to a P/K server a few times is alright, but hanging around those for a very long time is not good.
And to get that amazingly high score I was commanding. Dropping UAVs all the time and nailing everyone with a pistol let me rack up easy points. People even tried mutinying me near the end of the round because they thought they could get double points by being commander at the last second.
So once again, I'm sorry, and nowadays, I regret what I did.
[Heh, I think I was able to get away with it because like someone else pointed out, I don't have many revives or heals, my ammo points aren't off the charts, and my KDR is pretty low, as well as my SPM. Just shows that I only did those padding servers for a few days and haven't hung around in them much at all. Not to mention Medic is my least-played kit (or one of the least-played).]
Yeah, it was all command points. I got a crap load from the uav (get points for every time someone kills someone that the uav reveals I think) as well as a bunch from kills (1 point per kill as commander). and then i did get a few arty kills from the morons who would try capping other flags and ruin the rule of staying between the square and hotel.
You get command points based on how many points your team makes. You don't get points from kills while your commander that includes art kills. Also a high best round over 400 without padding is hard to get but not impossible. Also you don't have to be a commander on a P&K server to get that kind of best round. It's possible to get well over the commanders if your fast with your pistol and quick with your revives.
No, you get a point for killing someone while as commander, compared to the usual 2 points.
Straight from the wiki
Commander
The commander score is the sum of all commander points earned. The commander points are every point earned by a member of your team during your reign as commander divided by the total of living team members at the given time.
Kills with artillery will count towards you global kills and kills with the kit you are using but do not directly add points to your score.
After each round has finished the commander of the winning side will have his points for that round doubled.

DUDE! This post is SO old it has a post from my FIRST BF2s forum account. That is OLD.
I know the wiki says that, but even still I get a point every time I make a kill (except for arty). Either that or every time I check my score there's a big coincidence.
Anyone else know for sure? I'm 90% sure you get a point for a kill, but I remember you used to not get that point.

Why
It's two points per kill.
Yes 2 points per kill when you're not commander, but when you're commander I think it's just 1 point, though it used to be 0.
No points for kills while commanding. end of story.
No points for using uavs, spotting, etc.
I have had rounds as commander with more kills then commander points.

10 hours with pistol, enough said, otherwise he sucks ass
There is one server called =FUN= Infanrty only.
There is sniper fight between Train accident & Gatehouse, you can make 500-1000 points in there while playing sniper or medic.
There is one medic per team and other players are snipers, i dont know is it stat padding or not but you can gain points in there fast. One time i managed to get 800 points in there but it didnt registered cause of PB, round time was 4 hours.

It is not hard. I have 306. This is because I was commander, it was I/O and there were only about 20 people on a 64 player map. We keep capping flags, and then I keep killing people. This along with the X2 (I think the OP forgot about that) lead me to the 306 points. It is not hard to do on I/O Karkland servers.
PS: Before anyone says that I suck because it was on a I/O server, I consider it more skill to kill someone face to face, rather then in a tank or plane.
Edit: @OP, I think it is strange you say it is so hard to get over 200 point IAR on Karkland, when you yourself have a BR over 200.

mine is like 325 that was an ultimate medic whore night on a 64 size with only like 20 guys.
500+ is most likely padding
500+ is most likely padding
Firstly, as commander you get NO POINTS for anything you do. Your score is the average of your teams score. So the more kills/flag caps you get the less kills/flag caps your team can get, so the less points you get.dubbs wrote:

And its even more skill to kill a tank or plane, or killing someone face to face when you have an APC shooting at you too.PS: Before anyone says that I suck because it was on a I/O server, I consider it more skill to kill someone face to face, rather then in a tank or plane.
Because it is "hard" but not impossible, 400-500 is impossible without padding. Even 4v4 on 64 player map these scores are unbelievable, and can only be reached by blatant padding or by flag hopping (Which is also padding).Edit: @OP, I think it is strange you say it is so hard to get over 200 point IAR on Karkland, when you yourself have a BR over 200.
P4dd3rZ!!!
its easy, my friend scored 511 in a Knife and Pistol server. you simply need a server wh o last long, like 2 hours and you'll do the same
I'm sorry, your an idiot.PvtStPoK wrote:

couldn't be that b/c he's a First Sergeant at 40k points, didn't you have to get like, 150k for First Sergeant when the game first came out? i can't remembergene_pool wrote:
Well, apparently, version 1.00 of the game, servers culd chose ther tickets. Some servers apparently had them eal high. MAybe it was a server with real high ticket rate?
and in all honesty i think it's padding

prolly padded on a knife and pistol server :*(. So sad how people go on gay servers like that. I reported one but hell EA don't give a shit so yeah. It was prolly a knife and pistol server. AKA STATS PADDING!!!
Its very possible, my best round score is like 573. I was commander on 64 player Oman and it was only 3v3 me and clanmates. We would constantly cap and recap flags. The round lasted like 4 1/2 hours so its possible without padding. People say that looking at their victims shows that they were padding, Bullshit! My favorite victim is a clanmate and I killed him 52 times in one round. And my enemy is also a clan mate he killed me like 80 times in a round. Guys this is possible. Again this was a 64 player Karkand and there was only 8 players in the map. We only did a deathmatch type of game US gets the hotel and we kill in between hotel and square. This can be done without stat padding. People who say it isn't, Bullshit!, I've done it. My clan has had a server for only a few months now and we used to keep it on 64 player maps and we couldn't get alot of people so we have changed it to 32 and still don't have a lot of people join.m8v2 wrote:

1.00 was long gone at this stage of Battlefield 2.
