In a slump :(

For the past few weeks i've been in a slump. I cant seem to do anything right, No matter what kit i play i suck, The worst part is on my favorite maps i've been doing so badly compared to my previous gameplay. On Gator,Ghost, and Warlord. Maps which i scored 100+ i'm down to half that. As Sniper i cant seem to hit anybody, Support i cant hit shit with the pkm, and worst of it all is my Assault play has gone down extremely.

But here's the funny part on PR i score the highest of anyone on any round, No matter what kit i am i always do good, Marksman and Grenadier kits serve me well. Basrah and Muttrah i can take out entire squad with just my pistol(If i get the drop on them first) And squad leader i always get first place.

So here's my question what should i do to get out of this rut? Stop playing so much PR? Or? Please give me some suggestions i dont wanna suck so bad anymore.

well depends what u like better... just do whatever u like better and stick to that. thats all i can really say

p.s. BF2 OWNS ALL GAMES... lol

LOL, i thought you were talking about real life.

anyway, this happened to me when i started playing PR. i think you get into the mindset of actually aiming in PR, and then in BF2 when its not so important you take to long for your shots forgetting about the gay random BS in BF2.

when i quit thinking about it, i got better again.

happens to me too,
no weapon works, no matter how many bullets i put into someones chest/ face so i get in a jet or chopper an drop bombs

Medic + Karkand. It solves all problems. It takes no skill to rack up easy points as medic on karkand, so there's no excuse not to be in a slump on that as well

You answered your own question. You are too used to PR. BF2 is a lot different than PR, aiming wise. Since you have adapted to PR quirks, BF2's have slipped out of the mental and muscle memory. All you need to do is practice BF2 (I know that sounds odd) more and your skills will return.

Ive had this happen to me before, i scored like 30 in each round, couldnt hit shit (even with the '36e), this was after i had a break for a month but after a few rounds i got back into my normal play, you;ll be fine, just play with the shittier weapons for a bit and once you get better with them move onto the better ones and youll be doing even better

Quit vBF2 and just play PR... it sounds like you're having more fun with it.

Get a girlfriend and stop playing so much? Most people think the best way to get out of their rut it just to play more and more. Quite the opposite. Just take a break and enjoy the outside air, or find another hobby... preferably involving the opposite sex.

i had that problem when i started playin too much...so i cut back the amount i play big time and now im playin alot better more consistently.

Usually like that for first couple of rounds after some PR but you'll find you'll get back into the swing. What I find annoying is in PR you double tap and move on. BF2 is like full clip then move on I try taking out two people with just four bullets and fail miserably.
