Is Jack Chick a Terrorist?

Think about it for a minute? What is "terrorism" at it's most basic elements? It is the use of fear to coerce people to change their beliefs and actions to suit the terrorist's wishes.

Lets examine Jack Chick, and to a lesser extent, his fundie friends.

They use the threat of eternal torture in a lake of fire upon death and a means to scare people into following their religious beliefs. If you don't subscribe to the Jack Chick religion, then you are going to burn in hell for all eternity.

Now, that to me sounds like a terrorist.....

So why isn't Jack Chick being arrested by the US government?

Actually, if he threatens you with an AK, he's more likely a guerrilla. Not that its much better, but not always the same thing as a terrorist.

Someone using an AK is not a terrorist, someone blowing shit is a terrorist. AK-47, M-16, which is the difference?

No it does not. Reason 1 being is if you believe their beliefs then your soul is not threatened and if you don't believe their beliefs then you wouldn't believe that they can threaten your soul. Reason 2 being that they are not threatening your soul but telling you what will happen to your soul if you do not believe.

What sounds to you like a terrorist sounds to me like a religious fanatic. If terrorist can be non-religious fanatics then your concept of terrorism is crap. Hence, stop...think...remove the concept called terrorism. Its all murder for power .

Forget immortal soul for a moment. My problem with him and people like him is that they encourage people to see other human beings as not human at all on the basis of religion or sexual preference. It's a belief that allows scumbags to validate every bit of their behavior from simple harassment all the way up to and including murder. He may not be a terrorist but I'll bet he has some dedicated fans who are.
