My physics class is doing a project on global warming. Yes, physics. I know. Shows you how "great" public ed is today.
Anyways, I need some of the best sources for whatever information there is - skeptical or not. I'm also trying to stay away from wikipedia.

Global warming or green house gasses?  GHG is easy, but I've never done a project on GW.

No dude, never go to Wiki, Wiki contains biased information that you can't cite in university research papers. Instead head over to UN's website http://www.ipcc.ch/ to find unbiased (well, not that biased at least) and trustworthy information.

And on that note, I'm also doing a project on Global Warming, but instead our group is researching possible geo-engineering solutions to combat global warming. Mainly our idea is to increase the albedo of the planet so there is less incident thermal radiation on the Earth, thus offsetting the extra heat absorbed by increasing levels of greenhouse gases.

How about actual scientists who actually study this seriously.

Website (index): http://www.realclimate.org/index.php/ar … /12/index/
Website (homepage/current articles): http://www.realclimate.org/

They do the science and also address the moronic (old, error-ridden, debunked, yet continuously re-cycled) arguments made by skeptics

_____

(LOL - another moronic non-scientific propaganda link has been posted ---> www.aconvenientfiction.com).

Even better than Wiki is you go straight to the sources used for the article, then use a little bit of googling to get what Wiki doesn't cover.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.

I just finished a Global Warming project in my chem class.

Half the class had to try to prove it is man-made and half had to try to disprove that it was man made.

I was on the "not man made" side and it took my group hours to fund enough credible sources, mainly because when you google "global warming" 19/20 good sites think it is man made.

OK so what did you learn (since you were on the "not man made" side)?

Can we move this to DST? I'm interested to see where this goes but it'll be buried if it stays in the Junk Drawer.
