Hey stef10, a label denotes something. It is basically a name. "Apple" is a label/name for something.

"God" is label/name for something.
"Allah" is a label/name for "God." It is the same thing. It is just another label for the same thing: and that is "God."

YHWH is the Jewish-Semitic name for a specific God. One of the 70 sons of the Canaanite-Semitic God El. El, and YHWH both appear in the Old testament as names for God. They are not evidence of monotheism, they are evidence of anachronism and cultural diffusion/inheritance.

I don't feel like reading the entire thread, but I think the comic is ridiculous. Although the criticism of islam being derived from the moon god allah is valid, it's hypocritical because christianity borrows some of its largest holidays (christmas and easter) from older pagan beliefs. Also unmentioned in this comic is the fact that most christian symbolism and imagery is derived from pagan myths (the wise men and the star, Noah's ark, garden of eden...)

I'm not trying to invalidate any religion, i'm just pointing out how every "modern" religion borrowed aspects of older religions in order to gain followers.
