Anyone know how to fix this?

Everytime I try and play a dvd through windows media player it says an error occured with digital copyright.
Now this is very recent because I have played many dvds through WMP before. I can only guess windows, or another program has automatically updated itself which has caused this problem. I have Windows xp with a powerdvd decoder. I can play dvd's through powerdvd but not WMP.

I have 10 karma to give away.

cheers

ps today I updated all drivers and it's still not working

Check for updates specifaclly for WMP. A window sometimes pops up and says 'Would you like to update WMP?'. Then just update it. But if that fails just use powerdvd. I think you have to get the dvd licensed using some program?

I sorted it out. Going through program files and I found a strange decoder I knew nothing about. I deleted it and now it works.

cheers
