Hi guys, While browsing for some games for Ubuntu I came around this Geometry Wars clone (which is for XBOX 360) called Grid Wars. It's a shooter game that although has very simple graphics, you get immersed by the combination of visual and sound effects during game play. If you already played this title for the console you know that's very addictive. So I give you here a couple of game play videos and take a shoot at it, it's completely free .

Looks cool, kinda like an updated version of asteroids. Unfortunately when I tried to dl it I got this error :

The data area passed to a system call is too small.

As far as i know it had to be taken down due to Microsoft (or whoever) catching up with the guy that made it and *asking nicely* for it to be taken down. I managed to get it before then though. Mwahahaha etc

Yeah I also red that. In fact, the guy removed the DL link from his webpage and posted the "kindly" memo that MS sent warning him that it was infringing copyright laws.

I find this particularly ridiculous, in the face of Geometry Wars being, in itself, nothing particularly unique. Maybe iD should sue every FPS game development company for making Doom clones.
