It took me at least 6 weeks of playing everyday before I started getting more kills than deaths. I play mostly SF maps and as many have mentioned before SF on average has more skilled players than vanilla.Sgt.Kyle wrote:

The server I play on allows raping of Uncaps. Can't tell you how many times I've been spawn-killed but I'm sure it's a lot. When that happens I just keep spawning in with different kits & try to break out. That accounts for a LOT of deaths with no chance of getting a kill.
Yes, I suck, but I am improving. It's gonna take me forever to get my KDR to something respectable.
I have fun playing and I'm getting my moneys worth out of the game. I'm well known on the servers I play on and dare I say I'm respected by those I play with. That's all that matters, at least to me.

It takes a loooong time for better play to make an impact on stats that have taken a beating early on; even if you became an uber player overnight it's amazing how slowly some numbers will change.
If i get someone who plays weirdly on a server- i.e. i think they might be hacking, i might load up their stats next time i go on BF2's to check them out- but never follow it from there- just for my personal benefit.

Yes. If I think Ive killed somebody a LOT of times in a round, I screenie it and look em up to get a new victim (but not for enemies )

If I kill a n00b many times, i check his stats to get him as a new Victim
i do, but its normally after they tell me my stats suck. and then i look up their, expecting to see nothing but pwnage, and they are a medic. and thats all they are. and i laugh.

I look up my friends stats. I cant seem to remember names...I read them, but not really. It's like I know the shape of their name, the curve of the letters, but I can't piece it together. That's what I get for reading so fast x-x
