nice find, muslims should read this (without declaring war upon the whole world as usual)... not that I believe in any god myself.. I just hate that people believe in a god (that dosent exist) and do horrible things in his name because they have no oppinion/balls of their own..

Followers are the dumbass's, but the people who initiate war and terror is using religion as a tool. There is always other reasons may it be economic, expansive, racism etc. Kinda like how the Muslims invaded India, a Sheik said the Indians were practicing idolitry (Gold statues, gems etc). There are always reasons behind things.

You are right, they don't. Allah is not like the God in the Bible. Allah is singular, unlike God who is of three unique personalities (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit). And if I remember correctly, saying that Allah is made up of multiple personalities is the greatest offense you can say about Allah. And the God in the old testament is the same in the new testament. There is this thing called past revelations where God reveals himself more and more over time. You can see the foreshadowing of Christ as early as genesis, where God said he would provide a "lamb" when there was no lamb around for Abraham to sacrifice. Stuff like that, and much more nearing the end of the OT.

Allah doesn't have to forgive you, even if you are sincere, and there is no sure way you will enter paradise. In Christianity, God will forgive you for all your sins if you accept Christ's payment of sin. The only thing God won't forgive you of is knowing that Jesus is indeed God, but refusing to accept him (people who are not saved but believe they are are still refusing God) and even living to defame him. Now even if you do this it is not too late, unless you die of course, then you're in a lot of trouble. John Piper has a sermon about this (blasphemy against the Holy Spirit) at desiringgod.org which goes into much more detail.

So, no not the same gods. The 2nd commandment is "you shall not make false graven images." So, from a Christian perspective, worshiping something like a golden calf is idolatry, as well as making your own image of God to suite yourself, which is what Islam does. Not the same God. Paul, or Saul of Tarsus, said that you should make sure you are praying to the right God. If not, God isn't going to hear you.

Even if Islam borrows from Christianity and Judaism, it doesn't make their god's the same. It's all legend and myth to most people here anyways.
