Well one of my clanmates went into our server to practise by himself in a plane. Then 7 members from the NWA came in and sumhow kicked him. He is the admin, so how could these 7 members sumhow kick the admin of the server?
vote
no, they didnt vote i dont think. they just kicked him. you know how admins kick to make room for sumone?
It's impossible unless you're the admin, so it was a vote.
hmm maybe i just didnt understand my clanmate correctly...
You can do that, but not with only 7 people in think (at least not in JO, dont know in BF2). Thought 10 people were needed.
And, No, I'm not going to tell how.

It only takes a majority vote to kick someone. So if all 7 people voted yes, and there were only 10-12 people in game, it would kick. If there were more than some other people also voted yes.
You do not have to vote OR be an admin to kick someone.
You have to play on PUNKBUSTER ENABLED server where PB IS CORRECTLY INSTALLED and use PunkBusters command PB_KICK.
When I say "correctly installed" I mean that players must be able to use PunkBusters client commands.
This far I have seen very few of these servers. That's one reason why I give a shit to "top player" lists.
------
Most of you consider that you are playing on "safe server" if you have PunkBuster box crossed from BF2 internet filters when joining server.
That's wrongly considered.
Admin can enable PB and configure it to be whatever.
If PB is correctly installed then all players should be able to use PB-client commands ! IMO, these are the most important of those :
- PB_MyGuid --> shows your PB ID..
- PB_PList --> displays a list of all players on server and their "slot" numbers..
- PB_Power --> shows "PB power status" = if PB_POWER is enabled or not on server. IF PB_POWER is enabled then this command shows "PB PLAYER POWER" values for each player too.
- PB_Kick [slot #] --> ..and the kick. If PB Power is enabled on server, you can use PB_Kick.
When a player [SLOT #] gets certain amount "AGAINST" points from other players, he will be kicked. No matter if voting is disabled on server.
- PB_SYSTEM [0/1] ---> VERY USEFUL COMMAND ! This must be executed BEFORE you join server.
The complete player manual --> http://www.evenbalance.com/publications … /index.htm
If a player can't use PB commands on server, I would like to ask why not...
Only very few correct answers can be formed.

The number of players kicking someone has no value if you use PB_KICK.Thought 10 people were needed.

Maybe was just kicked for high ping or for "No Packet Flow"
could be ... but HOW ?
PB_Power points are default one per player, thought 10 points were needed to kick someone.BudRell wrote:

True...but still it looks like the kick was given using PB_kick.
PB_kick does not inform you nicely before it gives foot.
Other kicking methods do.
