Prove it.

The "spokesperson" for the company says that Jorge Miguel Romero is a "legal resident" but not a citizen, naturally.
This is likely because the illegal aliens advocates consider legal anybody who makes it across the border.

Today 10:39:16 +1 Horrible accident, twisted coverage. Don't know why you waste your time with these 'tards that run for the race card everytime illegal aliens are mentioned. We are doomed

No you prove it. Are you stupid? You're the one that been trying to prove a point. The media would have gotten a hold of this information if there was any. Who the fuck would call anyone legal who illegally crossed the border?

The stupidity on my part is attempting to debate with children.

The overall point is that the illegal alien situation in Southern California is so far gone that the media purposely buries information regarding the drivers record and legal status. The government is so idiotic they are more busy providing benefits to illegals http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/3 … 14.article to bother enforcing the law. The civic planning aspect could be discussed, as it is a poorly designed exit ramp. My question as to why one must resort to what is admitedly a crackpot website to find out even the name of the driver remains unanswered.

Vareeg, you seem to miss the whole point.
The point is lost when you angle a thread blaming a legal resident into being an illegal alien, worded a little different ATG and i think most people would have agreed with you with ease.

I agree with you illegal aliens are a problem and California might be struck harder than most but the one sided critics you provide makes you look like a racist when i doubt that was your intention, besides jumping to conclusions like you did a tad higher up doesn`t validate your point.

And it pisses me off when you draw conclusions on behalf of others without having the means to back it up, but you are not alone to do so, it`s one of the biggest weaknesses of DST and i have indulged in it myself i`m sad to say.

"media purposely buries information regarding the drivers record and legal status."

The media covers stories they think will keep peoples' interest. If they were to report someone was killed and they knew it was by an illegal alien they are definitely going to report that part as well. Just because they don't report a case of an illegal killing a citizen doesn't mean they bury the information. There are so many stories that happens everyday. They pick which ones are more interesting. But still if that's your point why didn't you bring up an actual story of an illegal killing someone in a car crash?

Now, question here.

Everyone is saying that his ethnicity had not effect on his driving, so thats why it wasn't reported.

....but what if he was asian?

The point is. . . . if our companies didnt exploit people for money, maybe we would have a more competent drivers at the helm.

They hired this Mexican "legal resident" (i'll bet. . . .) to drive their vehicles for peanuts!!! He probably is uneducated, barely speaks english etc.  A credible truckiing company who isnt shady doesn't hire a guy who's driving record is 74% worse than most other truckers out on the road!!!

This isnt a racial issue, the issue is American business owners are allowing illegals to operate machinery, farms, service industry etc. cause they can pay them the least amount of cash cause the government doesnt give a shit!! Aside from the business aspect these illegals have permiated into our society turning California into Mexifornia!! They declare the littlest they can on their taxes, and give most if not all their money back home to their families!! THEY DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE USA!!

They care about money! Thats all! they dont want to assimilate cause they dont have to, cause there are so many of them here already! They can hide in the shadows without anyone checking up on them.  Deporting them is too large of a scale, but inacting laws that don't allow them to rent apartments/apply for loans etc.  Punishing business owners by charging ENOURMOUS fines to discourage hiring illegals etc. Could force these people to go back to where they came from!

We are a nation of immigrants, I understand that! But we are also a nation of laws and principles, and when people are blantantly exploiting those, they need to go home! Cause its not fair to the other people who are trying to "make it" the right lawful way. . . .

Not quite. Parts of Dublin are now run by extremely violent eastern European gangs made up of illegals and legals. We are begining to experence similar problems with work forces pay etc......

5 people were killed in our tiny countries roads over the weekend. I'm sure in the whole of the USA the numbers run into double figures. One accident involved a supposed illegal. Think that's what ppl are pointing out in a round about way. Road deaths are a tragic byproduct of society and are unfortunately inevitable. Who's to say that a legal driver wouldn't have crashed the same way if he had been driving the truck.

It's not necessarily that Mexicans are somehow believed to be inferior drivers, it's just that when we hear about an illegal immigrant in a car accident, it makes us think about why that illegal was driving in the first place. The first question that I would wonder is whether this guy had a license or not. If he didn't, then obviously that's a problem (and a likely contributor to the crash). I also doubt that if he didn't have a license, he probably hadn't had any driving instruction, which doesn't make me feel any better. If he did have a license, then it makes me wonder how in the hell an illegal immigrant got a license. Either a state's laws are too deficient in keeping illegals from forging documents or are at best looking the other way at illegals getting licenses, and both of those are pretty scary possibilities.

The tragedty is compounded by the fact he is likely an illegal alien.

People don't get it; a large part of the government apparatus  and media looks at illegal aliens the same way the activist do. Once they get here and live for a while, they are living legally, see. The company says he is  a legal resident, and i can translate that for you; it means he shows up for work and has taxes withheld and has a drivers license, that has nothing to do with if they are legal citizens or not. As in, immigrated legally.

Wrong.  If he is an illegeal alien, he shouldn't be in my fucking country.  If he was in his own country then that shit wouldn't have happened.

Illegal Aliens are never repremanded for their actions in America.  They can drive without licenses without getting anymore than a ticket, which they will never pay.  They can collect as many tickets as they want with absolutely no consequences.  Citizens, on the other hand, are much more responsible drivers because they must follow the rules set in place or face the consequences.  For illegals, there are no consequences.  There are illegal aliens who have racked up 40+ tickets without any consequences.  This is why they are causing so many accidents.

Why is it that I can always count on Bubbalo being on the wrong side of an issue?  Bubbalo's and Varegg's comments are so naive that it is almost revolting that they always formulate opinions without knowing what they are talking about.

Are you serious ?

Do i always formulate my opinion without any prior knowledge ?

So if i have another opinion than yourself i am naive ?

I would say you and your kind that generalize your opinion of a group of people from one certain country is the naive one, if one immigrant drive drunk, they all do - what a beautiful opinion and what a showcase of knowledge you present, i am amazed ......
