How do I drop a Single bomb ?

I just got a new joystick ( Logitech Extreme Pro ) I am very happy with it.
it programmed easy, works well, constructed well etc. I know people say mouse or keyboard is better and I love helicopter with a mouse but, A joystick just seems more intuitive to me and much more fun.

In the very excellent " How to fly " post he talks of single bomb drops and I see others do it. I only was able to drop a single bomb once ever in 400 bomb drops. Keyboard, mouse, joystick what ever. They always ALL salvo off all 5 or 2 whatever the load? Is there some macro for it I am not aware of like double hitting 3 to get semi auto on M16 ?

So How do I drop a Single bomb. ? Just one ... like he says to in "How to Fly "

I did a search to see if it was covered in another post... no luck.

if i fly a jet i usally tap it once. it always worked for me.. it also could be that ur trigger is a bit sticky?(problay already tried but who cares) good luck

sigh stop giving him false infomations

to drop 1 bomb, drop both bombs first, and when you got 0 bomb, fly over the base and get just 1 bomb

and when you have 1 bomb, drop that bomb and come back to base to get 2 bombs

after that, you'll only drop 1 bomb everytime you press bomb

Works the same way as switching your rate of fire for your weapon out of a plane. If you switch to bombs from missiles u will be on drop silo( ie drop the lot ) but if you select bombs, then missiles and back to bombs you will be set to drop single... hope this helps u out.

I've noticed when you go to get more ammo, and you only get 1 bomb, you will start single bombing.

Drop all your bombs, then reload only one. Reload your full amount next time and drop. 1 bomb.

Yup, just pick up the one bomb when you go to reload, and then drop it and go reload again. After that you will always only drop 1 bomb, providing you ALWAYS reload when you have no bombs left, if you reload when you still have 1 left, it will go back to normal. This works for the bombers too, tho they will drop 1 bomb first click, and the other 4 second click.
People have said just tapping the button will drop single bombs, I've tried this and im inclined to say these people are talking out their ass.

Agreed. So for the bombers do 1/4 of the pad rearm to pick 2/3 bombs, so you've got 2 payloads to drop instead of all 5 at a pop. its retarded to drop 1 bomb then 4.

I'm still confused on this. When I'm flying the bomber I like to drop all the bombs at once. When I first get in the bomber at the beginning of the round this seems to happen just fine. Then as I keep playing I go reload and drop more bombs. I don't know exactly what I do when all of a sudden I go to drop another load of bombs but only one drops. From what I've read in here it seems it is because I am switching between bombs and missles view too much. Is that correct? Like if I just switch forward and back again it will drop them all? I could use some help on this one.

I have dropped a single bomb with a very quick tap of the button, so I can vouch that it is true.

Heffty you can rectify that by reloading a second time after dropping the single bomb. From then on, you will be dropping the full payload.

Very easy: tap ur button once quickly and only one drops. I do it every time I fly - confuses the enemy like shit

I found it is harder to do on american planes (usually 50/50), but on russian planes it works with no problems. Just tap it once and one bomb falls.

There is also another way to drop one bomb. Tap the button to drop bombs, then immediately change to air-to-air weapons, you should have only dropped one bomb if you were quick enough. This is what I do most of the time so I don't have to visit the airfield/carrier as often to resupply.

if u fly over only half the airstrip it will only reload one bomb so then u only can drop one bomb
