It's been a long time since I booted up ole BF2, but looking into things Im wondering if reinstalling is even merited. All of you here are seasoned veterans of the game and have gone through the trenches so I ask you this: Are the servers still full, are there only a few left, is the game still poplular, or is it dying out?

Yes bf2 is still very popular, I can still found many servers that are full, or almost full (=very popular) ..

So if you are afraid that Bf2 is dying out because your starting up again, then the answer is, Bf2 is still alive..

Its still up and running with a good community and lots of players.

Lots of servers still but many IO servers now, lots of P&K and padder servers up as well, lame. Also still same amount of shit bugs and crashes that EA don't fix. Still hacks, commander hack being popular, other hacks I guess.
