Spamming the Grenade Launchers when playing as Assault
Noobtube: Either a Grenade Launcher or Rocket Launcher that kills in one hit. IE; SRAW/Eryx, M-203, GP-30/25.
I haven't been playing BF2 for a long time. Seems like my time ma shine broke down and let me fight in the year 2142 . But I think what they mean is the Grenade Launcher on the Assault Weapon.
I'm not sure, because n00bs might use it too often and think that they would be cool with it... I

When all you do is run around with your GP30 out, and fire it as soon as you see anything that resembles an enemy. Use of the attached AR is strictly forbidden.
Noobtube isnt applicable to BF anymore, it really originated from MOH:AA, now that WAS a noobtube.

Its expansion pack took it one better with the introduction of the noobstick, AKA: The GewherGranate!
After the patching, i dont think it is a noob tube anymore. Nades are a lot more powerful and easier to use now
I hate people that use nothing but the GL. Its such a cheap way of getting kills. But, then again, i have recently started playing as Anti-Tank in IO mode so i guess i'm just as bad. Its just so fun. Anti tank has very powerful anti-inf weapons. Dao-12, rocket, pistol. Takes a lot to bring him down lol.
God i hated the tube back then.

People always slag off weapons that get easy kills:
N00b tube - GP30 or M203 is so easy to pwn with
N00b tube AT rocket - instant kill
Claymores - place and forget
Armour
Jets
Helis
In my book, I play to get kills and score points, if I find an easy fail-safe way of doing that, I'm going to exploit it.
That's like Saddam going "Waaah that's not fair, the Americans have got better tanks, they should swap for shitty 2nd hand soviet junk to make the war fair!"

I actually die more (When ever I get to play, which ain't often) now that I've got ADSL.
a noob tube is a one hit kill weapon that someone uses repeated, thus showing a lack of general skill.
In BF2 thats the nade launcher or rockets.
In CS thats the AWP.

AT Rocket, when you use to to kill someone on foot, it is called noob tube

I had been assault all round pistoling for badge, then this guy was tank whoring ground troops (we had no bases with any vehicles left), so I swapped to Anti Tank to help get him just as the other finally got him.. as I spawned on my Squad Leader who instantly got snipped and way down in-front of me was this guy standing in the tank spot waiting for it to start raping us again. So as I just had a shotty I tubed him and got banned!
On there forums I asked why and and was told they wouldn't allow Anti-Tanks to noobtube troops as only sad little kids did it.... but tank whoring troops was ok

The term noobtube doesn't apply to BF2's grenade launchers anymore. Anyone saying they're easy kills is probably wrong, that only applies for special situations - I can hardly say how many times a GL shot simply bounced of a FAV/DPV which should have been destroyed instantly when I hit it :-/
