Do you:
#1: only stick to basic teamwork, such as healing, resupplying, reviving, repairing, but without forming a real squad or following certain people.
#2: always try to get real allies and stick together, always helping each other, and always communicate
#3: play with friends as teammates more often than not
I've never, ever relied on teamwork in BF2. On infantry maps, the best thing they can do is be good enough to not get completely destroyed by the enemy, leaving you with a proper fight. On vehicle maps, the best thing they can do is not try to get in the vehicle you want. Lone wolfing > teamwork.
