"Should I buy this system?"

No. Go to newegg or whatever it is, and get some parts, and get someone to build it for you, or build it yourself.

if you have that kind of cabbage and you do not want to or have no interest in building then sure.

However, if you have ever eaten ramen noodles in your life, then you probaly know the value of money. In which case the majority here has the right answer for you.

Actually Alienware uses magical components, similar to what we buy but with a magical dust.

I just built pretty much the same thing for ^^ that much from newegg... all you would need to do would be to find a liquid cooling system and you'd have the same computer...

If you can afford to take 3 grand and light it on fire, then buy the Alienware.

If not, build it yourself.

Heck, 6 grand? Cyber Power has a better quality one for half that. And I agree with the NewEgg comments.

But yeah, Alienware? Ripoff.

that only has one game out that uses that, i read the ctrl alt del comics and the artist plays the game but i can't remember what it is off the top of my head

on another more serious note, is the extra grand and a half to two grand worth the water cooling system and if so, is it worth having it installed correctly so you don't flood your system and short out 3 or 4 grand worth of parts?

Im not going to scream at you ZomG Al13nW4R3 Wh0r3. But ill try to be balanced.

Alienwarem though owned by Dell, as supposed to be better than "Dell" for customer service. However, they're stuff is overpriced - fact.

If you want piece of mind (ie knowing that all your parts are tested, fully functioning ect), and have some serious $$$ then by all means buy.

But, you could save a whole lot of money building yourself, and gain all that practical knowledge while building it.

Remeber, Alienware do not allow you to upgrade your mahcine as such, you have to send it back to them, and they'll upgrade it - at a premium ofc.

So.... self build ftw!
