How do you get flashbangs while playing the regular game (not SF)?

Play assault with the FN2000.
I think you have to play SF at least once to unlock it for BF2.Or is it only for the SF werapons ?
The flashbang is in the F2000 kit. I have no idea why BFHQ shows it as an unlockable, which is actually un-unlockable.

I'll have to start doing that. For a laugh. The flash effect lasts for far too long i think. Great for getting back at annoying teammates. But i dont get annoying teammates thaaat often so i'll have to wait.baggs wrote:

You need to play one round of BF : SF then unlock the F2000 as an unlock after you get promoted. Then the flashbang is the 5th weapon in the kit.

I can play one round for you, I've got SF. I don't expact your KD ratio will go down or so....

Actually, when you play the assault kit with the F2000, you get 3 flashbangs instead of the smoke grenade.

i cant even remember unlocking it, it just appeared in my assault kit one day, but on my BFHQ it says it is still locked
The key to successive flashbang use is to flash your own team to encourage them to keep moving, and to always throw them out in the open. It works well!

i used a flashbang on jalalabad the other day, and someone on the other team said "who uses flashbangs in the fucking desert" lol

who needs an M95 when you can flashbang the chopper as its taking off, chances are he will nose dive and kill himself or panic and jump out, hey.. iv'e seen it happen. and no teamkill for youz, flashes are great if you need to get by an enemy tank without him spotting you, or kark alley, funny watching the enemy continuously run into the wall as you knife em in the back. but the real test is trying to kill someone with them, all you need is a carrier, a bunch of nubs waiting for a vehicle, a supply crate and lotso flashbangs. the only problem is they don't go as far as nades and they take forever to throw leaving you vulnerable.
Yeah, you need Special Forces to get flashbangs with the 3rd tier assault kit being the F-2000.

Point in case - sitting behind a supply crate thinking to myself "excellent i have unlimited flashbangs!" and promptly hitting the side of the crate and getting it to bounce in front of me, I swear i got the whole caboodle for 2 minutes
