2. I always get a squad together, and regardless of squads I try to heal/revive/resupply/fire support others.
Granted, that doesn't mean we stick together on a map. Sometimes there will be 3 at one flag, 3 at another. But we always try to support our mates.
Unless you get on a server that sucks so bad, that even trying to get a squad together won't help. Where everyone on your team is Sergeant or below, and none of them have a clue.

I try to play with clan mates while on teamspeak, i rather not play alone on some random servers, since most people go for points or are total pricks rather than playing teamplay. Sure i like to be alone on the odd occasions to make points and such but its not the same.
Clan play on Pubs is great, most of the time your whole squad all come in the top 10 positions. thanks to teamwork and high kdrs as a result.

#3, because I solely play Project Reality. I meet up with a few friends and we absolutely own together
I always try to get into a squad and work as a team when possible because to be honest, I suck going solo.

The number of patches for BF2 and the amount of teamwork I've seen on the pub servers I play on is inversely proportional.

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
I create squads and join squads as much as possible and communicate a lot through typing or headset. I play for the team and I play for the win. But that means it's frustrating because while I'm out sneaking around capping flags or attempting to defend a point by myself with 30 people approaching, my SPM suffers. But I'm not too concerned, I have more fun with that than medic whoring on Karkand. I just wish the top squad would get some sort of bonus... like if your team wins and you're the #1 squad you get your team points doubled? But that could become severely broken, so I guess leave it as it is

I'm an award seeker, so alot of times the server/map and actions are based on medals, which means Im alone alot.
However, I do find myself completely not doing what I was intending to work on if I find a good Squad Leader or Squad. While I learned how fun flying is, I still ground pound if the squad is good.
Fun>awards ten fold. alot of people are in it for the Awards only.

I join squads pretty often, but it's not for any real teamwork-oriented goal. I figure I might as well join a squad because maybe, just maybe, the squad leader won't be useless and will actually provide me with a spawn point that's closer to the enemy base. And when I'm in a squad I'll usually spawn with the appropriate kit, e.g. as a medic if we don't have any. But the squads usually end up sucking anyway. I've given up on relying on my teammates to help me get anything done because it won't happen. They'll sit back at our spawn point turning in circles and looking at the sky while I attack the enemy base alone.
I play squad leader occasionally, but the thing that keeps me from doing it more often is that a lot of times I just want to be left alone without having the responsibility of being a squad leader.
Project Reality is a different story though. I always join squads, and I always stay with my squad. Playing support roles is more fun in PR, too. When I play medic in PR I actually do my job. I've had a blast just keeping my teammates healthy for entire rounds without getting a single kill.
