Wake is a classic map from BF42.... u notice all the rusted Zeros dotted around?

now, if they would only bring in other maps from bf42, particularly El Alamein and Coral Sea...

I found a 16 player wake island first round I was commander ending up with a round score of 106 x 2.. resutling in like 213.. ( yes 106 x 2 is 212.. but iwas 213) and the second round we had the PLA pinned down to one flag.. and I ended up with a round score of 231

A supplycrate to get al your enemy's at one place, then (directly after dropping the supplycrate) drop arty on the same place, results in more kills then your normally would do with an artystrike.

My best roundscore was a bit over the 100, with like 45 teampoints as medic, the other 55 points were kills. And a bit over the 90 with a J-10, I had like 50 kills and only 3 deaths (and also a bit of teamkills because those retards were standing in front of my plane).

16 players on Wake still gives the full 5 capturable flags... 8 people per side, most focus on the Airfield, so if you jump around the map, capturing flags, you get 4 points for each one... add to that if you go support, Engineer, or medic.... a team leader or Commander, and you can get even more team points.
All of this, without firing a single bullet.

Rather odd for a first person shooter, that you can get more points in a game without shooting, but whatever...

Your THAT commander!!! Trust me when I say, don't use the heli as a commander. It makes your own team want you dead, as you can't effectively lead anyone to battle, when your too busy holding your bird in the air.

yeah, back when Wake was only on the 64 player servers (now its on 16 and 32) i only played it thrice. score 1; 28 *because i was too busy trying to figure out why i'd been promoted 4 times . score 2; 75, score 3; 77.

for a few month my 3 wake matches were at such high scores, but i rarely play 64. 64 = lag.

I've had some excellent infantry battles on Wake and high scores there and also some horrible days
if you know where the jets are likely to bomb then you can easily stay alive and simply squad march up the narrow peninsulas laying waste to everything in your path
