Case is worth a bundle (the alienware one that is), plus all that software you may or may not use.  It's up to the individual, like I said, if money isnt an issue by all means, atleast if something goes wrong you dont have the headache of chasing up suppliers for new/replacement parts, just call them and say HAW FIX IT,   Not so sure thats worth thousands but

this topic is full of misinformation about the physx

a LOT of todays games use it for better physics/visuals, not only one, and trust me i've seen auto assault vids (an underrated car MMO from ncsoft) and it can do a lot of cool things. like for one it can simulate liquid, that moves and acts like liquid. trust me, im no fanboy for anyone but eventually the card or a substitute will be needed for future games.

New GPU cores encorporate almost exactly what Ageia PhysX use into their GPU. At this current time, there is little to no games which even support a Physics card. There is no point in getting them.

(Edit, spelling mistake)

They make their money on owning a company that's well known, so they can sell them for much more to people who know alienware is good and want to say about how their system's so badass because it's alienware. Who really gives a crap? It's all about the system...damn name-brand rip-offs
