I play[ed] because it was fun and a change from what I'd played before (RTS/MMO). (First FPS game not including the 2 hours of playing CS before.)

I play to have fun with friends and to meet other people that share the same gaming ethics.To be honest with you all, rank doesn't meen a damn thing to me. I kind of wish there was no rankings for the game! Atleast then people would utilize some of the awesome maps that others have made instead of playing the same old shit. Don't blame EA for this either. It's the peoples descision not wanting to play without getting rank points. This game will be long gone before others realise they have missed out on plenty of fun on new maps and playing with new weapons becuase they were to busy trying to rack up points that meen NOTHING! If you need to look at rankings to make you think you are better than someone chances are you need to do more growing up rather than more gaming. Take this as you will but remember, after BF2 is gone like so many other games have in the past you will be nothing more than what you were when you started playing the game.
