1) Rockets hit Israeli soil. They retaliate. You are of the opinion that Israel enjoys being attacked?
2) Palestinians hitting Palestinians. Are you saying they should intervene? If so which side?

I think its foolish for people to assume that Israel wants Hamas to keep sending rockets their way.
Its a PR nightmare either way. . . .rockets come into Israel, they are forced to respond due to public outcry. "In fighting" happens and Israel has to respond due to the sheer nature of the conflict, and the fact Israeli military are operating in the area, and could get "sucked in" either way. Its a lose lose situation for Israel!!
The Palestinians are a torn people. . . . They just cant seem to get the right formula to work!! They want to assert themselves, but that has led to a terrorist organization (Hamas) gaining almost complete power. They also want peace with Israel, but that cant happen cause Israel doesn't recognize their democratically elected government. Its so beyond FUBAR over there, its hard to even imagine a peace EVER being achieved. I dont think in my children's lives will they see long lasting cohabitation in Israel and futhermore the Palestinians area's.
