Those that have played with me know I like playing MEC exclusively on Karkand and as you can imagine this can get on the nerves of some admins. Most recently I've been forcibly switched in one of my regular servers despite being a squad leader and with even teams. I recognize this as an admin forcing a teamswitch via the console after a death since it's happened to me on another server before where the admins admitted it. As soon as this started happening I tried asking which admin was responsible in the global chat. To my distaste, I was kicked shortly for "disrupting gameplay". Of course I came back and continued to demand who was messing with me. No response but I kept getting teamswitched every time I was on MEC and never when I decided to stay on USMC for kicks.

Here's where you guys come in. Based on the story I gave them when I registered at their site and their explanation as to why I was being switched, who do you think is right. Is there really an ultra rare server-side teamswitching glitch that only forces you from MEC to UMSC despite you being a squad leader, or am I being harassed at this server? There is nothing in BFROE that says they cant switch you. So yes it is most likly an admin switching you.

I think hes talking bollocks blaming it all on a hacker. I have never been teamswitched whilst Squad Leader (since the patch was introduced stopping it)

I always switch by myself to MEC at the beginning of every round. I have no problems playing elsewhere and haven't gone back since this started, but I just wanted to know your guy's point of view as to whether they are lying to me in that thread or if such a bug really exists.

No glitch, its a server admin switching you to the other team. If your being switched by an admin there usually is a problem with the balance of the teams. Maybe not in numbers, maybe one team just has better players.

You say you play mec exclusively on karkand, its possible that this admin figured you switched to join the winning team.

Divine, no offense, but you sound like an asshole on those forums, not to mention the logs of the game. You're leading me to believe you're autistic or something if you get into a hissy for something you did wrong (walking in front of a teammate and punishing for tk). If I were the admin there, I'd have kicked you for disrupting gameplay too, because your whining was doing just that. You think you understand the situation completely but you have no idea. You were kicked from there because you were cursing and complaining constantly. There are sooo many Karkand servers out there; just find another one if that particular server isn't good enough for you. You seem to think you have rights and abilities above typical players and even the admins, which shows disrespect. So, that entire spiel of getting kicked was your fault.

As for the teamswitching, could have been an admin, could have been a hacker. I'm inclined to believe the admin's response because he seems more level-headed than you.

Came across a similar thing in my own clanserver. We have multiple admins and no-one claimed that they were switching me from team to team. I don't believe them, but it could be that they were for once not screwing around and it actually was a rare bug.

The thing is that incident with the TK was just background info and a possible motive for them to try switching me. I know it was wrong to punish him but to be honest nobody's perfect and we all have those frustrating rounds. If you would have played on that server and witnessed how many people actually punish for TKs instantly then you would have an idea where my attitude that day was coming from. 75% of the players in my own squad ffs will punish an accident. If you're going to try to enforce a rule like that then at least kick whenever you see it happen, not just when it affects you. Even if you can't be that consistent at least hold your own recruits to a higher standard. I brought like 3 different instances in which their members have punished an accident to their attention and they failed to discipline them.

How would you feel if you had been punished for every accidental TK for 3 rounds straight while forgiving all of yours to be the only one in the server to get kicked on your first one when you finally lose patience with your team? It's all about your perspective.

As far as me making a scene, why shouldn't I? I play minding my own business abiding by rules and wishing to have good time without admin interference. Should I let admins walk all over the first time giving them the idea that I'm a pushover? (Talking about teamswitching and kicking for asking)

Yeah, be a demanding player on my server and you will get teamswitched right before a kick...

Divine, I appreciate you attempting to find out what happened, but as described to you in our original forums, no Admin had switched you in those three rounds.

Trying to later, in this thread, indicate that we are NOT TRYING to resolve the problem is complete and utter BS.

I appreciate all the replies from server admins on here backing us, and those of you that have mentioned you've seen this bug in the past.

As far as I know only one person here has said that they have seen or experienced this glitch. I'm not convinced yet. I have yet to get a specific explanation for receiving that kick for trying to find out what was up when it all started. I'm talking about who kicked me and why.

I've been there done that, trust me all admin abuse starts from an anonymous kick. One kick leads to many more, and many kicks lead to ruined rounds and games which is why I'm so adamant at sorting these things out when they happen.

As explained in OUR forum..

You were kicked by CanadaRocks for the reason of "punishing accidental TK".. which was actually caused by your own fault. Our server rules stat "you may be kicked for punishing accidental team kills".. therefor.. you were with accordance to our server. Note, the server says "may".. therefor we are unable to monitor and kick all punishes for "accidental" teamk ills, since we need to "witness" them ourselves. We DO NOT kick for PUNISHES only, therefor, need to witness it being an accidental TK than a punish.

You were later kicked by myself, Sgt.Todd_3465 for abusing in game chat and causing a disturbance to game play instead of accepting you were kicked for a valid rule on our server.

Both kicks above have been described to you on our forum, unsure why you still don't understand or allow this to drop. You point out above that "we won't allow it to die".. to me, we keep explaining and answering all your questions.. over.. and over.. and over.. and you won't let it die.

Basically, keep it up, and you won't be welcomed into our server(s) any longer.

I was referring to WHO kicked me for asking which admin keeps switching me, and WHY. How many times have I had to tell you the TK incident was unrelated and besides the point of this thread and that one. NO ONE is contesting your right to kick someone for punishing an accident, I've just expressed my motives for doing it and why I in my opinion I thought it was uncalled for. The incidents happened two weeks apart and unrelated so please just drop it.

Getting back to the topic, any other server admins experience this phantom bug?

Instance #2, 2 days ago. #1.. you were NOT TEAMSWITCHED BY ADMINS.. I was not playing, I loaded BF2CC and checked. You were kicked however later on by CanadaRocks for disruptive game play, by posting similar comments as above in game. Obviously you should at least respect my answers and willingness to help you on this issue considering my very first post you yours was..
