Yes Irish men are slow witted and very dim ...like James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, Bram Stoker, Louis LeBrocq, Francis Bacon etc etc.
O-K, Never heard of any of them, explanation?
you're an ignoramus?
James Joyce: One of the most influential writers of the 20th century. Irish.
Samuel Beckett: Irish dramatist, novelist, poet and philosopher.
Bram Stoker: Writer best known for a book you may have heard of entitled "Dracula". Irish.
Louis LeBrocq: I don't actually know who this is.
Sir Francis Bacon: As far as I can remember he wasn't Irish, but I am shocked that people don't know who he is. He was arguably the most important statesman in history, a defender of the scientific revolution. Basicly he was the man who first called "Bullshit" on the church.

Oh really? Care to identify these people, without looking on wikipedia

John Erickson
Richard Wallace Annand
John Simpson Kirkpatrick
Andrew Stoddart
Ernest Thompson Seton
and I bet you can't identify where they all come from either

Also thanks for the info Ty.

P.S Not knowing a few people in Irish history does not make me an ignormaus.

The difference is his were all figures which were important historically.

Simpson, whilst a great guy and a folk legend, didn't even directly do that much in Australia's history let alone the world's.

Not that I necessarily agree with him calling you an ignoramous, but you could have chosen better examples for the response.

I suppose, there's a statue of Simpson in the town near where I live, where he was born.
