Ok this is a complete leveled debate. All I'm asking is for people to choose which one they prefer and then why that one and why not the other.

I'm thinking of getting a laptop. I'm getting out of the game right now and I want some nice, something slick, and something very good. I can't decide rather i should run Mac or Windows. I just set up a Mac and i loved it. The screen, the controls, the capabilities. And i ask rather its worth it or not and i get the "Why windows is better" answer and vice versa for a laptop running windows. I really like the structure of Vista but i'm sick of hearing the problems. I love Macbut i hear about cost and cost of each new product and yada. I can't decide. So please help me out here but i need decent answer from serious people. I can't decide...which shall it be?

Options:
A) Macbook Pro 15
    * 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    * 1440 x 900 pixels
    * 1GB memory
    * 120GB hard drive1
    * 6x double-layer SuperDrive
    * ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics with 128MB SDRAM

B) Any suggestions for a good Windows Vista computer

I would choose/have a chosen a PC laptop.
I currently have a Dell Inspiron D820. I use mine almost exclusively for work, development, VMWare, etc.

Depends what you want to use the laptop for.  For gaming, go Windows.  For Graphic Design, etc., go Mac.

I recently bought your option A, and i must say i love it.

after a couple of months use, the only two cons i would put it down as having are:
- minimal gaming potential
- mac msn sucks balls

other than that i love it. physically its beautiful and sleek, and its stability and features are pleasant to use.
