Tomorrow is the big day, I ship for Navy boot camp. I know a lot of you probably don't know who I am, but I'm familiar with most of you. I come here every morning to read the bickering, and good debating in the DST.
I just wanted to let you know this forum will be missed while I'm going through shit at boot.

I'll see you guys in 9 weeks! I'll post some pics while I'm on liberty weekend.

In the Navy a MOS is called a rate. I was going in as CTI(linguist), but after reading up on it I changed my mind. It seemed extremely boring, so I switched my rate to AM(Aviation Structural Mechanic). CTIs never go to sea, it's mostly a desk job, so I picked a job with relatively high chance of duty underway.
