I can live with the problems but more maps would be nice. Even just 1 every 6 months would be good. If the charged £1 for it am sure they would cover there costs.

Agreed. BF2 has its annoying quirks and bugs, but in all honesty the only better-policed game I've played is World of Warcraft and they can afford to, what with the $15 a month subscription...Considering that you can get BF2 with all the expansion material for $40 now, I have very few complaints.

The game is still full of bugs - a lot of them are so simple and pathetic too.
I know most people play IO, but there are a lot of problems with vehicle mode. Bombers are only so effective when every LGM missile jams.
However, despite all the shit - it is actually fun. This game could, and should a lot better than it currently is. We need to petition Valve to take over the game and to fix it.
The "redjade" portfolio on their website is interesting. They show the missing AF Harrier and an unknown helicopter (which I assume is the EU's missing Lynx).

I want jets to revert or for them to up the f35 as all jets are not meant to be the same but they have to be reasonable in a game so people can have fun.

Those obviously are guys from the DICE Canada studio who produced SF and EF before it got merged into the EA Games behemoth.
Sad to read it and im also not surprised but i thought they would make another patch. With other words this means they give a shit on their customers and users. See Blizzard how succesfull they are i dont play that game but i hear that they give out patches nearly every month. Or see STEAM whats updateing every week.
A last hope would be that EA/DICE give out the rights to the community that we would be able change things or add new maps. Now you may ask how ? The very fact that this game will be two years next month should give everybody an indication that its time is up (as far as updates are concerned).

We have some great shooters to look forward to in the near future, (COD 4, Crysis, Quake Wars etc.) however we should continue to play BF2 cause its stable and a blast to play. The maps are fun, badges are still fun to try and get, and their are a lot of people still playing. . . . .Not a sad message at all!! Just tells me they are done fucking with the game, and thats that!

I know iv had my moneys worth. £20 bf2 £5 AF loads of 150 hours playing and still enjoying it.
