In any event, get a second DVD burner, keep a DVDRW in there, and set to back up every night. That's what we do at my business. We rotate 8 discs so you can always go back 1 week. Come in every morning and the DVD tray is open, swap out the discs, and move on. It's literally a 15 second insurance policy.
