Downloads capping at 160kb/s

I've been angry lately.

Anything I download stops at 160kb/s and it takes ages to download anything.

Other people have about 600kb/s on Azureus, and I'm stuck at 160kb/s.

How do I fix this? I know there must be something wrong.
Maybe I should just phone Telus... unless you guys know whats wrong with it.

Meh. I've been getting 600kb/s, but then I check, and my kb/s starts dropping.

I found how the download speed for my plan, and it says up to 1.5mbps, meaning my downloads should be way faster than 160kb/s right?

If your service is a 1.5 Mb connection, you can only get approx. 180-190 KB/s download.

Seriously, how are you getting 600 kb/s on azureus? My 7 gig farscape downloads would be done in like a day if I could get that.

Yes, I know farscape is kinda crappy, but what else am I gonna watch if I want some sci-fi? And I've already been through 10 seasons of sg-1.

meh i get like 100's to 60's in azureus. It sometimes spikes to like 150 but rarely.

I get a cap at around 80.

i can regularily hit 200kB/s + but have pulled 650-700kB/s a few times on 5.5mb cconnection .. not bad
