So a lot of colleges offer ways for students to legally download music as an alternative to torrents and the like, just so long as you install their shitty media player with all the ads that flash on it. Now I know some of you are going to tell me to just forget about this and just do torrents (which I do use on occasion), but I'd like to get as much music as possible legally and download it as a last resort. (Oh, and just because I obtain it legally doesn't mean I'm going to illegally alter it ).
Anyway, the files are downloaded as protected .wma files and I was wondering if any of you knew of any ways to get around this protection so that I'd be able to save them as unprotected .mp3 files and import them into my main library.
I guess as an uber last resort I could just record the songs using sound recorder... but that would take hours of playing the songs and editing them, etc. I.E. I don't want to do that.
Thanks! and as always karma, albeit useless, is in store for those who can help
