Was he an actor then president or the other way round? If he was an actor first then......well it just shows you how people vote. Regardless of the fact that he might've been a good president. If he was a good actor then that was probably the reason he got in, in the first place. Pretty sad even though there was good outcomes.
FYI, the Cold War was lost by Russia. Not won by Reagen.

He had vision and he created a shit load of jobs. After the Soviet economy began to collapse he reached out and began to enact treaties that reduced arms and nuclear proliferation. He didn't require overt action for other nations to respect he United States.
