This may be old news to some of you, but I just heard about this. Oblivion has had its rating changed to M.
Another reason for changing the rating from T to M is the existence of a locked-out art file on the PC version which includes graphics for topless female characters. This content is only unlockable by using a third-party mod, but the fact that the content itself exists on the DVD is enough to warrant the change. If any of this sounds familiar to you, it's because Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas went through a similar ordeal with the Hot Coffee mod.

"graphics for topless female characters"
This is a joke. Somewhere in your oblivion data folder, there is a textureless, vague resemblance of boobs used to model female bodies in oblivion (all characters wear underwear, which is in the actual texture used for the bodies, so there is no actual nudity)
Oblivion is being pulled off the shelves in several stores, and bethesda have to give their masterpiece an M rating, because.. well, they made a game? Last time I checked, breasts are quite easy to see, even clothed. So, the modellers create a reference and then add the few polygons of cloth inbetween. Texture that, and you're done. But because Oblivion is so moddable, you can actually access all the base models. Forget all the realistic nude models that you can download (along with appropriate 'clothing', even), just ban the game!
Whoever is responsible for this deserves to be sparta'd. This is truly madness. Is every game that can be modded going to be rated M?
