i just formatted, and i downloaded the latest drivers for my 6600GT. do i just need to run them now? or do anything else? like uninstall old ones? thanks also wer cud i get sound drivers for my AC97 audio?
If you just formatted, you shouldn't have any old drivers to remove.

Install the drivers, reboot. Then google search for AC97 audio drivers download" and you should be able to find the drivers you need.
