I am just finishing up a project on the Atomic bomb, but need one more paragraph on the A-bomb pre-war, and i have NO IDEA what to put.  Someone, i beg, help me on what to put i only have 20 minutes!

sry for the lack of info, but something about the development or creation of the A-bomb pre-war.  I'm not sure how else to put it.  pre-1940s if you will..

Try Einstein's letter to FDR, or Fermi's early reactor research.  Honestly, there was not much effort put into weaponizing nuclear fission prior to the war.
