A couple of 'N00b' questions actually   Saved that for the thread rather than the thread title

First question.  If I am a squad leader, how the hell do I give commands?  I searched and searched the forum and all I could find was some sort of reference to a "T" command?   So you hold down the T key or something?  Any help appriciated.

Another question, regarding communication.  Often times I hear guys say the auto scripted "I'm sorry", or "yes, sir", or "bail out".  I know that you can get to these commands by holding down the "Q" key and bringing up the selection panel, but some of these guys seem to be able to spit out these communications at will, without even hesitating.  Like as if they just simply hit one key and that's it.  I was able to find from searching that PageUp is "yes sir" and PageDown is "no sir", but that is all I could find.  Are there any more shortcuts to communications?

Last question.  TV missles.  Again, I searched and found a ton of info about you guys owning with these things, but not how to use them.  I can't hit shit    Do you guys just wait untill the target is in the middle of the square, then put the crosshairs on it and shoot?  When I do this, it seems as though if the target moves slightly, I miss.  It also seems like the missle steers a little, but I can only get it to steer ever so slightly.  I think I must be doing something wrong.  You steer it with the mouse, right?

Thanks guys, sorry about the dumb questions.

im not sure what the default buttons are, but your sec. radio is what you use to command your squad.

i can do the communication thing really fast. i can easily press the button and i memorized where each of the commands are so i dont really have to look at which one i use.

to aim the TV missile, you keep clicking your mouse. every time you click, it will redirect the missile.

These are some great guides.

1.  Caps Lock brings up the menu where you can designate commands for your squad.
2.  T, Q and Page keys
3. Practice, practice and more practice.

For planes: A good pilot helps, lines up ahead of time which allows your missile to lock on and ensure a hit.  Other than that is just timing and luck.

For Heli:  Clicking lmb steers the missile in the click direction, keep clicking to steer.

What is a "sec. radio"?  I'm sorry, I just have no clue

I see what you're saying about the communications, and I thought that was a possiblity.  I just wanted to make sure I was doing it the same way as everyone else.

Clicking the mouse!  Ahhhh, I knew I was missing something.  Sweet, thanks.

Misfire, I probably need to spend a bit more time in the Wiki, but I have read several things.  I just have a hard time finding specifics.  I can find all the info I need on how powerfull a specific gun is, but how the hell do you use it?   That's just an example, but you know....

INSOC,  I know about the caps lock menu, but I couldn't see where to give commands?  Perhaps I just missed it.  I will try again.  Thanks man.

In the caps menu right click for commands, and to request UAV/Supply/Arty....just right click on the spot that you want the command to apply to.  For example, want them to attack a certain base?  Just right click on the base and click attack.  That easy.

The "sec. radio" or whatever the gibberish he said was, is in reference to the T menu.  It works just like the Q menu, only it applies to wherever your crosshair is pointing at.  So if you want them to attack the flag that you are at...point somewhere on the ground around you, hold T and click attack.  You can also request UAV/Supply/Arty with the T menu.

A good gunner doesn't need lock-on...  ...or luck.

You aim the cross-hair where you want it to go, once in flight you can adjust your aim but there is a little (intentional) lag so don't click too rapidly. Aim ahead of moving targets. Practice a bit and you'll be taking down helos and chasing down planes.
